Surgical Hair Restoration and Hair Transplantation is one of the hardest proffessions to staff effectively, the complexity of the hair transplant procedure and the lack of formal education centers to train hair transplant technicians are the main reasons.  The role of the hair transplant technician has changed dramatically in the last few years with the universal use of Follicular Units and the growing interest in Follicular Unit Extraction, hair transplant technicians must continually update their skills.  In the past the only way to increase your knowledge about hair transplant techniques was to attend annual meetings or communicate with other technicians around the country.  Unfortunately there are only two meetings held each year by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and discussing individual techniques with technicians from competing doctors is not encouraged by the doctors.

 
We have decided to share and exchange our knowledge with both experienced hair transplant technicians and those who have an interest in joining the field of surgical hair restoration.  This site is a resource for doctors who need to have their staff trained in follicular unit dissection and placement, and for doctors who are looking to hire experienced technicians to assist them in their practices.  We will also use this site to introduce new technology to help the industry continue to improve and deliver a better product to the hair loss patients.
